Cooperative Care
Learn to work with your pet to participate in procedures for at home
care, veterinary care, and grooming care with fear free and positive reinforcement
training methods. By teaching small, progressive skills, cooperative care will teach
your dog the skills to handle procedures like ear cleaning, nail trims, blood draws,
grooming, and more while still giving them the freedom of choice.
This helps to reduce anxiety and can help decrease or completely eliminate the need for use of sedatives.
Cooperative care focuses on building trust, and creating a stronger bond between pets and their
owners.
Class Format:
● Private one on one with the trainer.
● 1 hour class per session.
● Session customized to your dogs specific needs.
What to bring:
● You dogs favorite treats.
● A regular 4-6 foot leash.
● A fitted flat collar or harness.
Cost: $100 + tax / hour
